MRG & eReporting through Child Story

Published in News

Family and Community Services have introduced a new place where the Mandatory Reporter Guide (MRG) with the eRporting tool can be found. If you currently go to the Keep Them Safe site it will redirect you to reporter.childstory. The advantage of this new site is after you have completed the MRG the outcome if not 'Immediate Report' will allow you, if you choose, to click onto the eReporting tool to process your report straight to the helpline. The eReporting can be used when your concerns for risk of significant harm are not an 'Immediate Report' as decided by the Mandatory Reporter Guide on the Keep them Safe site. Click eReporting  to enter the site where an online course to learn how to use the system is available from FaCS. Remember it must not be used for urgent immediate reports.

BiM has also completed a short 15min You Tube video of how to use the new site and eReporting tool. We will be providing more updates on this and the new resources available on Child Story in the coming weeks.
